We collaborate closely with a number of organizations to bring groups from all over the world to come and learn about leatherbacks and their conservation. These groups have the unique opportunity to accompany field biologists on night patrols, often witnessing nesting sea turtles up close.​
Activities vary, but may include beach clean-ups, preparing the hatchery, and guided boat tours through the estuary. Students also attend an engaging talk on sea turtle ecology and conservation, with plenty of chances to ask questions and dive deeper.​ Staying at a remote field station—away from modern distractions—offers students a rare chance to reconnect with nature and experience conservation work firsthand.
